Established in 1978, Sunderban park and Reserve situated among the estuarine mangrove eco-system, which is situated in the deltaic estuaries of Ganga and Brahmaputra. It is one of the most important Project tiger areas and has the largest number of tigers among the tiger reserves of the country.
