Tiger, Mugger Crocodile, Turtle, Panther, Wild Boar, Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Blackbuck, Jackal, Fox and Wolf.

It is the largest Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger in India and is located around the Nagarjunasagar dam. A number of gorges criss-cross the area and the different types of forests range from dry scrub to mixed deciduous to moist tropical bamboo and thorns.
