Elephant, Tiger, Leopard, Sambar, Barking Deer, Himalayan Bear, Wild Boar, Wild Dog, Gaur, Leopard Cat, King Cobra, Python, Hornbill and Pheasant.
The sanctuary is situated at the north-western tip of the Mizo-hills. A part of the sanctuary is covered with bamboo.
