WILDLIFE
Tiger, Elephant, Panthers, Sloth Bear, Nilgai, Sambar, Chittal, Wildboar, Porcupine, Four-horned antelop.
It is named after famous hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett. It was established in 1936 as the Hailey National park, India's first National park and the first Sanctuary under project tiger in 1972. It is situated at the Foot-Hills of Shiwalik Ranges. A tributary of Ganga, Ram Ganga flows through the park and forms unnumerous pools.
